“My heart is stirred by a nobel theme as I recite my verses for the King;
my tongue is the pen of a skillful writer.” Psalm 45:1
“There is no agony like bearing an untold story inside you” (Maya Angelou). Early in my carrer, I focused more on politics, promotion and marketing than writing—I worked as media relations manager for Frito-Lay/PepsiCo, and promotion manager for the University of California Irvine. But somewhere along the way, I must have gathered a host of untold stories inside me because from the moment Peter and I started our family, these stories groaned and kicked until finally they were born.
If you read through this list of publishing credits, it is probably because you are considering me for a writing job and/or as a coach, or as a speaker for your organization (I can think of no other reason a sane person would wade through such a tedious list—gads, it even bores me!) But let me add a disclaimer: Not one word of any of these projects would have been published without the help of God. I pray over everything I write, and my prayer is that, in some way, the words will bring glory to the One True Author, the giver of Life. I agree with B.J. Hoff,
“It matters not if the world has heard
Or approves or understands . . .
The only applause
We’re meant to seek
Is that of nail-scarred hands.”

Hi Lorraine,
Thank you for writing Diapers, Pacifiers, and Other Holy Things!! Someone gave it to me over 10 years ago before my first child was born. It ministered to me then. Now 10 years later, the Lord blessed us with our 4th and final child. I picked your book up again…and I am greatly blessed again. I would like to buy several copies to share with other mothers. I was unable to use the link on the website. Would you please let me know how I could order some.
Thanks again for sharing your gift of writing!
